As a senior content strategist, I plan content marketing for all areas of the marketing funnel, write blog posts, manage nonprofit partnerships, direct our visual team, and produce original video content.

I worked as a writer and content strategist for education content for Google’s UX professional certificate program. Content included videos, articles, and other materials.
As the primary Data Storyteller and Content Strategist on Google’s Black History Month campaign, I curated trends using Google Search Data, and wrote copy about Black Americans who were the Most Searched in U.S. Google Trends history. The accompanying commercial received 72 million views on YouTube and was broadcasted nationally during the Grammy Awards in January 2020.
the Wall Street Journal
I spent 5 years at WSJ covering breaking news, managing the homepage, and writing news alerts. This included the strategy and curation of the WSJ.com homepage, as well as social media.
Reporting included coverage of the opening of New York’s first safehouse for survivors of sex-trafficking, the launch of startup Warby Parker, and the origins of Occupy Wall Street.
Human rights: Iraq and Madagascar
I spent a year living & filming on a surgical hospital ship in Madagascar, covering the stories of global surgery through the lens of a charity called Mercy Ships.
I spent time in Iraq working with another charity in 2017.

I spent a year as a reporter and producer at TIME magazine, reporting on the cost of college, Facebook’s founding, and other issues.
Interviewees included: authors Elizabeth Gilbert and Dan Pink, Motown founder Berry Gordy, and musicians John Mayer and Carson Daly.
